Feeding Programs
Basic nutrition is a need that most of the first world rarely thinks of, but the basics of life is an everyday struggle for most of the world. We believe that physical nourishment is a basic necessity to life itself and we partner with local churches to provide food to their communities on a daily basis. Each program operates independently through the local church as they minster to children and their families. These feeding programs serve as ministries to help the local church train up children and reach the local community by meeting a physical need.
Mission teams typically visit a local program to help prepare, cook, and serve the food as well as present a biblical truth through storytelling, drama, games, and songs. Over 1000 children per week are fed in our 10 church based feeding programs at a current cost of around $160 per feeding program.
